Students at Yale University Have Started Yale Law Poker Team

Students from the Yale University campus have found ways to enjoy a couple hands of poker even though it isn’t exactly legal in the state of Connecticut.
Some of the top poker players today have walked the halls of the Yale campus at one time including; Matt Matros, Vanessa Selbst, Alex Jacob and others.
At this time there isn’t an organized poker club on Yale’s campus probaly because it’s not exactly legal but students that enjoy a game of Texas Hold’em are finding one another and playing the game.
These students have now formed the Yale Law Poker Team which competed last year in November at the First Annual Harvard-Yale Poker Tournament.
The tournament was organized by members from each university’s Global Poker Strategic Chapter. Both Yale and Harvard had teams that consisted of five players that were playing heads up poker.
The winner from each match up got one poing for there team and the final score was Harvard three to Yales’s 2 points.
